Psalm 139:14 ”I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”
You are perfectly designed by God for His greater purpose to be fulfilled in your life! God would put back the puzzle pieces together and perfectly set it right at the right time! Are you listening? What appears a mystery and puzzle now, would be crystal clear and pristine at the time of culmination of God’s plan in your life! Wait!
John the Baptist had to spend several years in the wilderness, eating honey and locusts. Read: ‘Now John was clothed with camel’s hair and wore a leather belt around his waist and ate locusts and wild honey (Mark 1:6) God did not immediately launch John the Baptist for ministry because he was making him strong in the spirit! Ministry of John the Baptist was unique! He was being prepared to talk to kings and royal officials! Friend, all the waiting, suffering, weeping are for a greater purpose! God would never fail you! All those tears are collected in a bottle by God! The sufferings and agony are not wasted, they are all massive learning curves in our life!
After walking out of the posh air-conditioned corridors of a multinational bank, I dreamt of a swanky platform with no sweat and an elite, urban audience – after all God has picked me out while working for a multinational bank – so I thought! Instead God chose to take me to the grimy streets of remote villages, muddy roads, and to the slums. Weekends, along with my husband, we would visit Government Hospitals and distribute biscuits to the sick and pray for them. In the evenings, we held prayer meetings among the poor in the slums.
Unable to send away the poor people who travel long to attend our prayer meetings, I started to cook huge quantities; I would cook and then get ready to preach. I honestly wondered where I am heading!!! After several years, I got answers for all my queries:
I never knew that I would start ABIDE SCHOOL for the poor kids and serve them free lunch every day. Here, with my experience in cooking, I effortlessly manage the menu for the children. Did I not say, God has a unique plan for you
My several years of work among the villagers and slum dwellers has helped me to smoothly fit in and work among the children of rag pickers, street dwellers and road laborers and impart education to them. This Herculean task surely needed work experience among the downtrodden, which I had acquired during my initial stages of ministry. Do not despise anything small as insignificant or trivial; God would take you from there to your final destination of victory!
Stint in the Corporate field has helped me to minister to the corporate work force through my internet ministry. Did I not say, God has a unique plan for you?
Your pain, humiliation, agony, isolation and tribulation would turn to ‘work experience’ and make you strong and unbreakable! God’s plan in our life will be accomplished as we yield to him with all our heart and soul! Amen.
