We often come across
different similes in Bible. For example, remember the ones which is used with
Farmers, Builders and Fishermen.
All three needs to have a
vision before they could get started with the field work. Farmer has to know,
what to sow, when to sow and how much to so based on what is expected. Builders
needs to have vision before he could architecturally plan and head with the
foundation. Fishermen cast down their nets at the right place and at the right
time expecting a great catch.
Faith is an expression of
your vision and the vision is based on your passion. Desires are dreamt and
produced in action once we wake up. But how do we desire the future of our
friends and colleagues at workplace to be, 1 year, 2 year or may be a couple of
years from now. Will they be moved by the passion which moved us, yes by the
Christ in us.
From this day onwards let our
eyes be filled with the vision of 100 souls filling the Chapel by the end of
this month. As we keep praying for the same and speak about it, our actions of
Faith will be increased exponentially. And as the word says Not by sight but
through the eyes of Faith, God shall help us to see this Harvest.
“..The harvest is plentiful
but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out
workers into his harvest field.”
Matthew 9:37, 38
