Very often we come across
these 2 possible questions in our market place.
Question 1: What are you
currently working with and how is it going?
If we stand surprised with no
answers then it means that we have not contributed to our role seriously. Any
given time we should be in a position to report of what is happening with the
projects. Even, it stands true with the family and in every zone of our life.
If we are expecting it to be answered by someone else then it means that we are
still getting directions to do our work. A person who gets the bird’s eye view
of the current situation will come out with new directions? He predicts the
future and he is on Guard. God wants us to be like that in our workplace.
Question 2: Second one would
be, how much timeline would you require to complete this project?
Any project needs a timeline.
Since, without that everything becomes obsolete. We would continue to work on
our own pace but the people for whom we are working would have got on with the
next phase. Perhaps we would have lost them. We cannot be making a dish for
ages to present it on the table. When we step forward, God will help us with
the right timelines.
Good that these 2 questions
can prepare us for the workplace and keep us on par with everyone and bring the
leader in us. But what if our Eternal Saviour asks us these questions. It is
time to analyze ourselves with what we are working with and how much time do we
require to take the Gospel across our workplace and to live it. Hence, let us
remember the commission (Therefore go and make disciples of all Nations. Matt
28:19) which is given to us by Christ and pray sincerely for our Brothers and
Sisters at workplace. To participate in the race is good, but with an Attitude
to Win separates you from the Rest and places you in the Frontline of Battle.
We are Called, Consecrated, Set Apart - Pray.
“..save others by snatching them from the fire;” Jude 1:23
