Broad Place!
Psalm 18:19”He brought me
out into a broad place; he rescued me, because he delighted in me.”
God brings you to a
‘broad, spacious, large place’ in His time!
God took David through
wilderness, caves, barrenness, loneliness, humiliation, failure, sickness,
betrayals and much more before He finally brought David to a broad place: a
place without strife, place of security, a place of peace, a place of joy and
happiness. Amen. God would do this for each one of you! Look
what David says, ‘God rescued me, because he delighted in me.” Let us be able
to say like David that God delighted in us. Are you listening? We
cannot come to a broad place of blessing without integrity in our life, without
honesty in our lips, with false and fake experience certificates and false and
bogus academic certificates hidden inside our brief cases. Do you hear me
please?
We got to remove every
bit of muck from our life, if we have to foray into this arena of ‘broad
place!’ Throw it away! Dig and explore your bags that have been bulging with
ungodly things, which have been hindering you for years from entering into the
blessing zone. Check it out ! Throw away old souvenirs, letters and other
related stuff, that you may have preserved from ungodly relationships,
you may have to delete some stuff from your computer and mobile as well.
You may have to walk out of illicit relationships, delete some unwanted
Face Book accounts that has been tainting not only your mind and heart but also
your life. One lady walked out of a relationship with a man, with whom she had
two children, even though he was already married. My messages dug like daggers
into her heart and finally she took the decision to move away! Come on,
cleansing, purification and consecration opens doors of blessings in your
life! Broad place demands some bold decisions that you need to take
right away! Look what David said: Psalm 18:20”The LORD dealt with me
according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands he
rewarded me.”
Do you feel suffocated, choked and jammed in a tight corner? I
came to tell you today that there is deliverance! Amen. Whatever may be
the fix you may be in today, there is deliverance in the name of Jesus
Christ. Claim it. Accept it. Reach out for it. Friend, forgiveness
also releases you from bondages of bitterness and anger. Oh! What a release it
is to forgive! Come on friend, the pain is not worth it! Let us forgive and
move on into a broad place of peace and joy! I know of a woman who did
not forgive nor speak to her husband for nearly twenty years and finally died
of cancer – her children were the worst affected. I repeat again, the
pain is not worth it. Forgive and move on to a broad place of peace!
